Job Summary
The Digital Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair of existing LED Billboards and related components including but not limited to troubleshooting/diagnostics, maintenance, support of network hardware/software, and communication links in support of our advertising clients.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for troubleshooting digital display products, systems, and processes and accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair these systems in timely and quality-conscious manner. Climb billboard structures, working at heights of up to 200’ for extended periods. Utilize appropriate systems, mobile applications to open, close tickets and track work. Work with high/low voltage power distribution and data communication/networking. Analyze problems, communicate with Manager, and network operations center. Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Operation of aerial lift equipment. Install Out of Home (OOH) advertising copy on an auxiliary basis to assist Static Install Crew. Maintain and keep track of warehouse inventory. Shipping and receiving tools and parts associated with LED Billboards Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education
and Certifications High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. Work
Experience
Working knowledge of electrical skills and techniques and an understanding of electrical requirements for wiring general signage.
Experience
safely utilizing construction tools / equipment and working on digital displays or electronics, strongly preferred.
Experience
with computers, networks, communications gear, and other electronic components. Skills Able to work independently and in a team environment. Able to complete appropriate documentation and reports. Able to operate with tools and carry ladders in a safe and effective manner. Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Physical Demands The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
