AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1) TRAVEL: Yes, 25% of the Time Description Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced Configuration & Data Management (CM/DM) Specialist to establish, lead and mature the CM/DM capability supporting the DARC Program. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will develop configuration management frameworks, processes, baselines and governance activities that ensure compliance, traceability and effective control of engineering data across the program lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing Configuration & Data Management plans, processes and work instructions. Leading configuration baselines, audits, status accounting and verification activities. Supporting Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes. Managing CM/DM activities within PLM and associated digital tools. Partnering with engineering, program and customer stakeholders to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance. Delivering CM/DM training, mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as the CM/DM focal point across internal and external governance forums. About You Extensive Configuration & Data Management experience within Defence, Aerospace or a highly regulated environment. Strong understanding of CM/DM principles, governance and change management processes. Experience working with PLM systems and complex engineering data environments. Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and drive process improvement. Defence or aviation industry experience highly regarded.
