This position reports to: Business Manager - Commercial&Operations __ Mission Statement: Developing and implementing the strategy of ELDS China Secondary Switchgear. Responsible for the financial KPI’s including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and accountable for delivering results as per targets, cost-effectively, with quality and competitiveness. Manage all aspects related to operations including production, engineering, procurement, quality & Opex and logistics. Build and develop the team into a customer driven and high-performance organization. Main Accountabilities: 1. Strategy Creates and implements appropriate strategy in line with targets agreed by Local Division and Global Business Line. 2. Business and product development Finds new business opportunities, networks and drive to position ABB as a preferred supplier together with marketing & sales organization. Drives technical development and productivity improvements to enhance customer offering and organizational performance. 3. Performance targets Ensures achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focuses on achievement of Revenue, operating EBITA, operating cash flow, productivity development, project on-time, on-quality and on-cost, requested on-time delivery (ROTD) and cost reduction. 4. Quality & Operational Excellence Executes division/product group Quality strategy. Drives quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes. Executes quality management for monitoring and validating day to day control of processes. Ensures manufacturing operations comply with applicable standards. Drives continued improvements in productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization. 5. Customer satisfaction Delivers operational/project targets (e.g. ROTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS). Ensures that manufacturing resources implement improvements and listen to the voice of the customer initiatives. 6. Safety and integrity Implements Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units. Ensures a safe working environment, and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance. 7. Standards and governance Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization. 8. People leadership and development Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed. Builds an effective, capable and high performing organization. Develops talent, appoints managers and reviews effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, business management or related professional. Solid experiences and track record of P&L management, in electrical equipment industry experience preferred Excellent leadership skills and ability to attract, motivate, develop and retain a dynamic and talented team; strong leadership skill to drive the management change. Excellent communication skills with a continuous improvement, results-oriented approach, ability to work at a strategic and operational level. Fluent in English and ability to well present both internally & externally.
