JOB OVERVIEW: This role supports the ownership of service delivery performance for the Record-to-Report (R2R) tower for a set of entities within a defined geography (e.g., North America, EMEA, or APAC). The Associate Regional Process Leader is accountable for execution of global process standards set by the Global Process Leader (GPL), ensuring high-quality, consistent, and efficient delivery across outsourced and retained operations. The role serves as a regional interface between Global Business Services (GBS), outsourced delivery partners, and in-region business stakeholders for the relevant entities, ensuring alignment between global design and regional execution. Reports to the R2R Regional Process Leader and is responsible for end-to-end operational performance of the R2R tower within the assigned region/businesses/entities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as a regional interface between Global Business Services (GBS), outsourced delivery partners, and regional business stakeholders (Regional CFOs, Controllers, and finance leadership), ensuring clear accountability and alignment of R2R service delivery. Translate business priorities into executable R2R delivery plans within the region, ensuring alignment with global process standards defined by the Global Process Lead (GPL). Supports the ownership of end-to-end regional service delivery performance, actively managing outsourced and retained teams across accounting close, reconciliations, journal processing, and controls execution. Lead daily and weekly operating cadence across the region, managing close calendar execution, volume, throughput, capacity, and backlog across delivery teams. Own and enforce SLA and KPI performance across R2R, including close timeliness, reconciliation accuracy, journal entry quality, and control compliance; proactively identify risks and escalate performance issues to the GPL with clear root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Act as an escalation point for regional service delivery issues, ensuring close delays, reconciliation breaks, control deficiencies, and accounting exceptions are resolved in a timely and structured manner. Coordinate with outsourced vendor sites to maintain staffing levels, quality standards, and process controls Execute and enforce global R2R process standards, policies, and governance frameworks, while managing regional complexity across countries and entities. Support regional demand forecasting and capacity planning, proactively identifying and escalating risks, constraints, and resourcing gaps to the GPL. Ensure consistent execution of process controls, audit requirements, and financial compliance standards across all R2R activities within the region. Maintain and enforce structured exception management and escalation frameworks aligned with global governance standards. Identify regional process improvement opportunities, including automation and simplification, and surface opportunities to the GPL and Process Excellence teams for prioritization and execution. Support transition, stabilization, and post-Day 1 onboarding activities for new scope migrations into GBS or outsourced environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Strong operational expertise in R2R processes, including accounting close, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany, fixed assets, and controls execution. Ability to manage service delivery in a regional or multi-country environment, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local requirements.

Experience

in KPI and SLA performance management, including root cause analysis and structured escalation handling. Demonstrated experience managing outsourced or hybrid retained-vendor delivery models. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence regional finance leadership and resolve cross-geography issues. Capability in capacity planning, workload management, and operational performance optimization.

Experience

supporting or driving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, standardization, and process simplification. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across business, GBS, and vendor teams. Experience

managing third-party outsourced providers in SLA-based environments preferred. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Advanced degree or professional certifications (CPA, CIMA, PMP) preferred. TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Travel typically less than 20%. Office environment. No special physical demands required. The posted range for this position is $99,622 - $155,660 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
