Asisstant Manager, Post Sales Engineer (Air con) - 2 years Contract
Job description
Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team as Post Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess strong Tech Support who is service-oriented, with strong technical skills and a passion for climate comfort. The Post Sales Engineer (Air Conditioning) is responsible for delivering high-quality post-sales technical support to ensure the successful installation, commissioning, and operation of Samsung Air Conditioning solutions in Singapore. As a Technical Support Expert, he/she will be responsible for providing technical product knowledge and support for air conditioning products and control systems for the Singapore market. He/she will assist the Technical Support Engineer to provide in-depth analysis of product and installation failure, and solutions to ease such situation, instantly and systemically. In this role, he/she will have to work closely with our Customer Service team in Singapore, and the regional technical teams located in Singapore and South Korea. As an individual contributor, the role provides technical expertise throughout the customer lifecycle by supporting commissioning activities, resolving technical issues, and delivering technical training to internal teams and service partners. Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, installers, contractors, consultants, and regional technical teams, the incumbent will help ensure products are commissioned in accordance with Samsung standards, customer issues are resolved effectively, and technical capabilities across the service network continue to develop. Role and Responsibilities Perform commissioning, testing, start-up, and system handover for Samsung Air Conditioning products to ensure compliance with technical specifications and optimal system performance. Provide post-sales technical support by diagnosing product, installation, and application issues, identifying root causes, and recommending effective corrective actions. Deliver technical training and product education programmes for internal teams, service partners, installers, and customers to improve product knowledge and installation quality. Support field activities by providing on-site technical guidance during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and major project execution. Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and regional technical teams to resolve escalated technical issues and enhance the overall customer experience. Develop and maintain technical documentation, commissioning procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to support post-sales operations. Capture customer and field feedback to support product quality improvements, new product introductions, and technical best practices.. Collect ‘Voice Of Customer’ product and service improvements for air conditioners & controls systems and share with our Product Management department. Skills and Qualifications A minimum of a Diploma in engineering or related discipline; in air conditioning or refrigeration preferred Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a service role within a technical/mechanical building engineering environment with preferably HVAC knowledge Be able to improve established processes based on requests from the field. Good time management skills to ensure timely follow-up of enquiries or issues. Someone who is used to working within complex matrix and international environments. Be able to take responsibility for his/her actions and knows how to enthuse team colleagues. Good communication skills are a necessity towards Head Quarter in South Korea and the local country organizations.
