Responsibilities

Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during product development Conducts minor projects and plans method of approach Reviews project progress and evaluates results Recommends corrections in technical applications. Specifies materials, equipment and supplies required for completion of technical projects Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action Has internal and some external contacts. Normally receives general instructions on routing work, detail instructions on new projects or assignments

BS or MS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering 2-4 years in a mechanical design role Job

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

SolidWorks 3D CAD experience or equivalent, Familiarity with production methods Basic finite element analysis Ability to work independently Supervisory
