Location: Guadalajara Workplace type: Hybrid Ingredion is looking for a Customer Specifications Specialist to join our team and ensure customer specifications remain a critical standard for evaluating product quality. Your expertise will help us deliver on our promise to customers and strengthen global coordination. As a Customer Specifications Specialist, you will be part of a global team that coordinates customer specification documents and ensures timely, accurate reviews aligned with quality standards. This role reports to the Lead Customer Specifications US & Canada. What will you do: Lead and coordinate the customer specification review process regionally, working with participants from each plant and country to provide timely reviews aligned with customer segmentation policy. Partner with colleagues to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries. Review customer quality agreements with the appropriate plant and edit agreements to meet Ingredion quality requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, plant quality, and sales to complete agreements and specification reviews. Submit regional reviews for global customer review. Maintain organized records of completed customer specifications and quality agreements in shared locations for easy retrieval by plant quality and global document teams. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operational, technical, or business role; plant quality or customer quality documentation experience strongly preferred. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of the Quality Organization. Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. English fluency, both written and spoken. Adaptable, quick learner, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in prioritization and multitasking under high-volume conditions.
