Senior Compensation Services Analyst As part of People Services, the Senior Compensation Analyst is accountable for the implementation, analysis and administration of compensation plans, processes and projects in Workday. This includes managing projects that cross multiple domains to ensure timely completion of deliverables, achievement of objectives, and meeting or exceeding operational measures. This role involves managing assigned compensation cycle activities for VF’s global compensation programs. The Senior Analyst is responsible for the development and communication of audit, reporting, and process protocols, and coordination of stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure understanding and effectiveness of the programs and processes. Additionally, the Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring quality, including identifying process improvements and root cause analysis that will lead to enhancements in quality and efficiency. The incumbent will respond promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, shifting priorities, and new situations, and will possess the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources and third parties. How You Will Make a Difference Ensure the integrity of compensation data through regular analysis of compensation data including in depth investigation into Workday data, business processes and transactions and conduct root cause analysis of compensation related issues. Accountable for managing the administration and documentation of all aspects of assigned global merit, bonus, and equity cycle processing (system accuracy, timeline & project management, training, in-cycle and post-cycle reporting, etc.). This includes in depth knowledge of VF Compensation Plan Documents. Educate and train multi-functional audiences using strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills. In many cases the audience will not be knowledgeable on the topic. Develop and maintain test planning and test protocols regular Workday update and release testing. Create process-focused compensation communication materials for the annual cycles in conjunction with the COE, with a focus on employee experience and manager self-service. Establish operational protocols to support compensation program design; ensure documentation of compensation procedures; play a key role in educating key stakeholders regarding both policy and procedures. Evaluate and make recommendations to continuously improve existing Compensation processes based on data. Plan projects, identify and allocate resources, and report back to key stakeholders on project status daily or weekly as needed. Coordinate with functional areas (Compensation COE, Payroll, Benefits, Accounting, Treasury) as required on Compensation projects, initiatives, and needs and to resolve complex issues related to compensation. Act as the primary resource to manage SLA, research, and respond to tier 2 compensation-related inquiries from the business. Serve as the primary liaison with payroll in the coordination and resolution of data issues that have a payroll impact. Coordinate with and serve as a resource for functional areas (Compensation COE, Payroll, Benefits, Accounting, Treasury). Calculate severance upon request and work with regional HRIS team to ensure appropriate updates in Workday. Conduct routine audits and updates to ensure timely communication and system alignment for all U.S. and Canada minimum wage changes, maintaining compliance and data integrity in Workday. Maintain accurate currency conversion rates in Workday by timely implementing updates provided by the Finance, ensuring consistency across global compensation programs. Skills for Success: 3-5 years’ experience with Workday related to compensation and data analysis. Undergraduate degree in human resources, business, or related field. Understanding of the fundamentals of compensation principles, plans and programs. Ability to read and interpret Compensation Plan Documents. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Demonstrated project management skills managing large-scale global compensation and/or data projects. Solid interpersonal skills and customer service orientation. Familiarity with Workday or other administrative systems. Subscribes to the highest standards of ethics and business/personal integrity. Detail-oriented, results-driven. Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize work for self and others. Clear, concise communication skills (verbal, written). Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Suite) with an intermediate level of abilities with Excel and Workday compensation EIB experience a big plus. Agile and adaptable to change that requires a quick pivot and redirection all while still meeting timelines. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive records and information. Hiring Range: $64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
