This Position reports to: Procurement Team Leader Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: hybrid/onsite This role is contributing to the Robotics business in Vietnam. Main stakeholders are internal project team and external suppliers. Working location: Bac Ninh You will be mainly accountable for: Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement and logistics for mechanical parts (e.g., sheet metal, welding, CNC) and electrical standard components (e.g., pneumatic parts, sensors, motors, connectors, PLCs) used in our automated electronics assembly lines in Bac Ninh. Ensure 100% on-time delivery (OTD) to customers through a resilient Vietnamese supplier base. Order Handling & Documentation: Manage the complete purchase-to-pay cycle: issue purchase orders (POs), track confirmations, expedite deliveries, and maintain compliant documentation. Sourcing & Procurement: - Mechanical & Electrical Parts Focus: Conduct RFQ/RFI processes, perform on-site supplier audits, and manage PPAP approvals for both new and existing suppliers. - On-Site Services (OSS) Management: Develop and manage OSS manpower suppliers (temporary/contract labor), including sourcing, contracting, and issuing OSS POs. Logistics & Customs: Ensure 100 % accuracy of import/export declarations and coordinate with Vietnam Customs for seamless clearance. Our team dynamics: You will join a collaborative and supportive team, where you will be able to thrive by working closely with engineers and participating in dynamic project processes. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in procurement and logistics, specifically with mechanical parts (e.g., sheet metal, welding, CNC) or electrical standard components (e.g., pneumatic components, sensors, motors, connectors, PLCs) used in automation manufacturing. Fluent in Vietnamese and English (both spoken and written); conversational Mandarin is a plus. Fluent Vietnamese and English (spoken and written); conversational Mandarin is a plus. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis. Practical experience with SAP MM or Oracle SCM is preferred. High level of initiative, strong multitasking ability, and a customer-centric mindset.
