Role Overview The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of HVAC Service & Modernisation projects, managing the full project lifecycle from planning through to completion. Working closely with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, the role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting contractual obligations. The Project Manager also drives strong commercial outcomes, maintains compliance with WHS and Carrier standards, and delivers an exceptional customer experience that supports Carrier's operational and business objectives. Lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of HVAC projects from initiation through to completion. Develop and manage project schedules, scopes, resources, and delivery plans to achieve project objectives. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, variations, and profitability. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Carrier safety standards, and customer-specific safety requirements while promoting a strong safety culture. Oversee project documentation, commissioning, handover, and project close-out in line with Carrier quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, engineering teams, and sales to ensure effective communication and project success. Provide regular project status updates, commercial reporting, and technical support to stakeholders while identifying and mitigating project risks. Required Competencies &

Qualifications

3–5 years' project management experience within the HVAC, mechanical services, or building services industry. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes. Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Experience

in budget management, cost control, financial reporting, and commercial decision-making. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills with customers, contractors, and internal teams. Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance across project sites. Strong organisational, planning, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities. Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline, with experience delivering upgrade, modernisation, or infrastructure projects highly regarded.
