Work Flexibility: Onsite Location: 5900 Optical Ct., San Jose, CA Shift: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM Summary: As a Repair Specialist on Stryker’s ProCare team, you will perform high-quality repairs of medical devices while supporting daily production goals in a team-based environment. You will work independently and cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and production partners to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure repairs meet established quality and regulatory requirements. What You Will Do: Disassemble, evaluate, repair, replace components, and reassemble medical devices to restore functionality in accordance with approved procedures. Perform quality repairs while following established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and applicable FDA and quality system requirements. Partner with team leads and supervisors to establish daily priorities, meet production goals, and adjust to changing build plans or operational needs. Work independently with minimal supervision while proactively identifying and escalating material, equipment, quality, or production concerns. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, and other production teams to troubleshoot issues and support problem resolution. Provide feedback and technical expertise to support new or updated procedures, training, and process implementation. Participate in and lead projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, waste reduction, and production performance. Maintain an organized and properly stocked work area while supporting material availability, equipment needs, and overall production readiness. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
