What You’ll Be Doing As part of our Environmental Compliance team, you'll work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and our global suppliers to ensure our products comply with international environmental legislation throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing supplier material declarations, technical specifications and test reports to verify product compliance. Analysing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assessing materials against global environmental regulations. Preparing product compliance declarations and Full Material Declarations (FMDs). Responding to customer environmental compliance enquiries and questionnaires. Supporting engineering change processes to maintain ongoing product compliance. Collecting and analysing supplier conflict minerals data and producing consolidated product reports. Conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), including data collection, analysis and reporting. Monitoring changes in global environmental legislation and advising the business on compliance requirements. Collaborating with Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturers and Sales teams across the organisation. What We’re Looking For Education: You'll hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Environmental Engineering Environmental Science Materials Science Or another relevant technical discipline. Experience: We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years' experience in environmental compliance, product stewardship or sustainability within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Required Skills: Product environmental compliance and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Reviewing BOMs, material declarations, technical specifications and supplier documentation Product carbon footprint or environmental impact assessments Responsible minerals due diligence, including CMRT and EMRT reporting Materials, chemicals and restricted substances used in electronic products Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential. Identifying compliance risks through detailed technical analysis Working collaboratively across multiple technical and business functions Environmental legislation including EU RoHS, China RoHS, REACH, POPs and WEEE ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 LCA methodologies Preferred skills: IPC-1752 Environmental compliance data management systems Electronics, semiconductor, photonics or optical communications industries Contract manufacturing environments Agile or similar product lifecycle management (PLM) systems Data analysis, reporting or automation tools that improve compliance processes Perks You’ll Love Flexible time off Health and wellness benefits (physical and mental) Tuition reimbursement and career growth support A workplace built for you: free gym, games room, prayer room Subsidized meals, free coffee/tea Employee stock options and incentive plans A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture Salary Range: $71,450 - $102,100 CAD (flexible). Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
