Job Description The Regulatory Controls Testing Manager is responsible for delivering independent second line assurance over the design and operating effectiveness of regulatory controls for The Currency Cloud Limited (“TCCL”). The role supports the development, maintenance and continuous enhancement of the Regulatory Controls Testing Framework, ensuring testing activities are risk-based, aligned to regulatory obligations and provide meaningful assurance to management and governance forums. The role leads complex testing engagements, supports the ongoing development of testing methodologies and standards, performs quality reviews of testing outputs and acts as a subject matter expert on regulatory controls testing across TCCL. Responsibilities
Regulatory Controls Testing Lead and execute regulatory controls testing in accordance with the approved testing plan and methodology. Assess both the design and operating effectiveness of controls against applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards. Develop testing scopes, sampling approaches and testing procedures for complex or higher-risk reviews. Identify control weaknesses, issues, root causes and opportunities to strengthen the control environment. Perform quality assurance and four-eye reviews of testing completed across the team. Framework Development and Enhancement Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Regulatory Controls Testing Framework, methodology, procedures and standards. Review testing coverage, control mappings, risk ratings and testing frequencies to ensure the framework remains risk-based and effective. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, consistency and quality. Support implementation of new testing areas and assurance activities. Issue Management and Reporting Review and challenge findings, issue ratings, root cause analysis and remediation plans. Oversee validation and closure of issues identified through testing activities. Prepare management information, thematic reporting and governance materials. Support reporting provided to senior management, governance forums and committees. Stakeholder Management Build effective relationships with Control Owners, Compliance, Risk and business stakeholders. Facilitate discussions on findings, remediation activities and testing outcomes. Provide guidance on testing methodology, standards and regulatory assurance expectations. Support interactions with Internal Audit, regulators and other assurance functions where required. Leadership and Capability Building Manage, coach and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and quality review activities. Promote consistent testing standards and good assurance practices across the team. Act as a lead practitioner within the Regulatory Controls Testing function. We are currently operating a hybrid working policy, with the expectation being 3 days per week in the Warsaw office.

and Skills
Experience
within Regulatory Compliance, Compliance Assurance, Monitoring & Testing, Risk, Audit or a similar assurance function.
Experience
managing a team. Strong understanding of UK financial services regulation and regulatory control frameworks.
Experience
conducting control design and operating effectiveness reviews. Strong analytical, investigative and report-writing skills. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities. Ability to exercise sound judgement and apply a pragmatic, risk-based approach.
