Operational Buyer - Sourcing Specialist
Job description
Take ownership of sourcing in a project-driven environment! As demand for our project business continues to grow, we are strengthening our Operational Procurement team with a Sourcing Specialist who can help secure critical suppliers, components and services for our engineering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing third-party components and services that support engineering and production activities across multiple projects. Working closely with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain and Quality, you will play a key role in ensuring that suppliers deliver the right quality, at the right time and at competitive commercial terms. This is an opportunity for a procurement professional who enjoys balancing supplier relationships, commercial decisions and project execution in a technically complex environment. You will have significant ownership of supplier selection, negotiations and sourcing decisions within your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
/ Tasks As Sourcing Specialist – Operational Procurement, you will: Lead sourcing activities for electronic components and related technical services across multiple projects. Drive supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution. Manage supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Identify supply risks and implement mitigation actions to support project delivery. Contribute to category management and sourcing strategies in collaboration with Global Procurement. Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sourcing priorities with project requirements. Support the development of procurement processes, tools and ways of working. Your Profile /
Qualifications

You enjoy working at the intersection of engineering, projects and procurement, where your ability to create structure and make sound commercial decisions has a direct impact on business performance.
