Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst for our Elkton, Maryland location. Position Overview: Develop from inception, maintain and deliver a monthly integrated master plan and schedule (IMP/IMS) through completion to meet project IMS objectives Integrate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), statement of Work (SOW), Teams, Deliverables, and resources into the Master Schedule in an efficient and timely manner Support Material Program Manager and Supply Chain in the management of program supplier base through the IMS and provide daily monitoring and status to the PM for critical path tasks daily Input EVMS requirements and reports to financial control as required. Support the preparation of monthly operational review packages Assist with reporting of Division performance for executive management Investigate deviations from plan and unusual results Participate in, lead, and support schedule reviews and metric reporting as requested by management #NGSkills Basic
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience; 0 year with Master’s degree or 6 years of relevant experience in Lieu of degree High degree of organizational skills utilizing MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Must possess a “can do” attitude, be creative & flexible; Must be able to work onsite in Elkton, MD Ability to communicate with strong verbal and written skills, and to present clear and concise reports, briefings and outlines to team members across 2 locations and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Security Clearance Knowledge of scheduling tools, MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera or Other Understanding of EVM (Earned Value Management) and DoD (Department of Defense) requirements
Experience
with Costpoint, Cognos and Sync Manufacturing software Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
