Job description

The digital marketing specialist is responsible for the coordination and execution of UNH's digital workflows across UNH’s owned and paid channels. Under the supervision and direction of marketing staff, the digital marketing specialist partners with internal creative, project management, web production, as well as external advertising agencies and platform vendors to ensure digital assets are produced, reviewed, and delivered accurately and on schedule. The digital marketing specialist will also support the day-to-day management of paid media campaigns, including trafficking creative to ad platforms, monitoring campaign performance, and maintaining consistent tracking and UTM conventions across digital properties. This person will work with our internal web and content teams to coordinate asset handoffs to the UNH.edu website, and with our agency partners to ensure campaigns launch on time, on spec, and in alignment with approved media plans. Responsibilities

Work in partnership with project management team maintain/create organize project tracking in Basecamp for digital projects and programs. Serve as the primary monitor for timelines, meeting schedules and communication flows for digital projects Serve as a central point of contact for workflow-related questions from internal team members and external vendors for digital projects and programs. Serve as the primary digital asset traffic manager coordinating deliverables like digital ad assets or website copy updates between content creator, stakeholder and producer. Serve as day-to-day partner with digital agency in management of paid digital campaigns, including search, display, and social advertising, across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn. Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and performance against established KPIs, and escalate issues as appropriate. Coordinate with agency vendors on campaign execution, asset delivery, and reporting timelines. Pull and compile routine performance reports from Google Analytics (GA4), Looker studio, and platform-native dashboards on a regular cadence. Maintain UTM parameter governance across campaigns, ensuring consistent tracking conventions are applied to all outbound links and paid placements. Flag performance trends or anomalies and surface them to the digital strategy team with relevant context. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, digital media, or a related field. Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience. Prior experience or internship in an advertising agency, media company, or in-house digital marketing team Strong understanding of pay-per-click advertising tools and campaign management, including basic understanding of campaign structure, creative specs, and trafficking workflows. Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4); ability to navigate the platform and interpret standard performance metrics. Google Analytic certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing creative assets for spec compliance and QA-ing live campaigns. Clear, professional written communication skills; comfortable corresponding directly with external agency contacts. Ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines without losing track of details. Pay Range
