We are seeking a Quality Improvement Nurse as part of the Quality & Safety Team. This role identifies and reviews medical records against Key Performance Improvement indicators for internal and external review purposes. Reviews all work to ensure an accurate report of Winchester Hospital performance in these studies. Analyzes information and reports trends, patterns and/or variances and makes recommendations to Manager. Participates in performance improvement implementations. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

Required: Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program required. BSN requirement strongly encouraged.

Experience

Required: 3-5 years clinical nursing experience. Quality & performance improvement, clinical documentation review, regulatory compliance, and healthcare data abstraction experience. Preferred:

Experience

with CMS Core Measures, Joint Commission measures, MassHealth quality programs, stroke certification measures, sepsis quality measures, and other regulatory reporting programs.

Experience

using electronic health records and quality reporting systems.

Experience

with multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives. Other Skills/Knowledge Required: Knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of clinical quality measurement methodologies Ability to interpret clinical documentation and measure specifications Ability to analyze, summarize, and present data to multidisciplinary teams Strong written and verbal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

Experience

with Medisolv, QNet, or equivalent reporting systems LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS: Required: Massachusetts Registered Nurse

Pay Range

$43,130.88 USD - $107,989.44 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
