Project Role : Performance Engineer Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution. Must have skills : Manufacturing Engineering MES Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Performance Engineer, your day involves investigating and resolving complex performance challenges that have not been addressed by the internal performance testing team. You will engage deeply with various facets of performance engineering, including understanding the software development lifecycle and architecture, validating performance through rigorous testing, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and identifying as well as resolving problems efficiently. Your role requires a comprehensive approach to ensure optimal system performance and reliability, contributing significantly to the overall success of the project and organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements. - Document findings and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices. - Continuously monitor system performance and suggest proactive measures to prevent issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues effectively. - Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies relevant to manufacturing engineering systems. - Ability to interpret system architecture and software development lifecycle impacts on performance. - Familiarity with capacity planning and application performance management concepts. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
