Responsibilities
Team Management: Lead and supervise an accounting team (2-3 people), ensuring effective task distribution and professional development. Financial Statements and Reporting: Prepare group consolidation adjustments. Analyze and monitor adjustments for GAAP differences (local GAAP vs. US GAAP). Prepare and deliver the monthly Reporting Package to the Group. Perform Flux Analysis and provide justifications for main variances. Collaborate on external audits. Assist in the review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide financial reports to senior management and assist in the analysis of financial results and KPIs. General Group Accounting: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of group accounting records. Oversee and review group accounting operations across. Guarantee compliance with local and global accounting regulations across the group Processes and Improvements: Participate in the implementation and enhancement of accounting tools and ERP systems. Implement process improvements to optimize time and resources. Propose and execute automation and efficiency initiatives within financial processes.
Requirements
Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance (Big 4 experience is a must). Technical Knowledge: Mastery of accounting principles: Advanced knowledge of Spanish GAAP required, US GAAP knowledge is a plus. Solid knowledge of group consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations. Proven experience in external or internal audit cycles and statutory reporting. Advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience
with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus Financial analysis skills highly required Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Experience
with AI tools and automation workflows is highly valued. Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
