Work Flexibility: Hybrid What you will do: Project Managers have accountability and authority for achieving a project’s objectives. They direct a multi-disciplinary team to complete a project. This position will be in NPD focused on managing the project, it’s resources, budgets and project timelines. The role demands proven project management skills. He/She needs to frequently interface with cross functional divisional counterparts and stakeholders and vendor base located globally. Analytical problem solvers; dedicated achievers; goal-oriented orchestrators; motivated product launchers and curious learners; Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Evaluate tradeoffs within project. Meet with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope; review with manager for approval. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical path and major workstreams and collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget. Partner with project team to create project Quality Plans using 1-2 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans and develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan. Contribute in the development of a Procurement Management Plan and collaborate on the selection of procurement partners Estimate, acquire and assign project team resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews. Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations and develop and Execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders. What you need: Required Skills: BS/BE/B.Tech/ME/M. Tech in any Technical Engineering, preferably. Experience- 6.8 years - 9 years , with minimum 3+ years of project management exp. New product development experience. Should be ready to travel to divisions as required. Travel – up to 25%. Preferred Skills: Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments. Understands quality system(s). High in emotional intelligence and stays calm under pressure. Adept in conflict resolution and exercises good judgment and can weigh benefits and risk in order to make solid decisions despite ambiguity Drives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate Adept at team management: selects the right people to the right tasks all while maintain team morale and recognizing contributions and have growth mindset – ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
