Job Summary
The RN Clinical Coordinator serves as the clinical leader for the practice by combining direct patient care with day-to-day coordination of clinical operations. This position utilizes professional nursing judgment to assess, triage, educate, and coordinate patient care while supporting providers and ensuring efficient clinical workflows. The RN Clinical Coordinator provides clinical oversight of nursing and medical assistant staff, assists the Clinic/Practice Manager with staffing, competency development, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives, and serves as a clinical resource for providers and staff. The RN functions within the scope of professional licensure while promoting exceptional patient outcomes, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Experience
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing required Current unrestricted RN license in Kentucky. Minimum three years of RN clinical experience in an ambulatory or physician practice setting. Demonstrated leadership or charge nurse experience. Previous supervisory or clinical coordinator experience preferred.
Experience
leading quality improvement initiatives preferred.
