This Position reports to: Chapter Lead Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team. The work model for the role is: LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Smart Power Division in Hyderabad. You will be mainly accountable for: Highly motivated self -driven engineers to work in electronics hardware development related to electrical distribution and control products The candidate must be very good at simulations (Saber / PSPICE), test strategy, reliability, components selection etc. Knowledge on PCB layout tool like Cadence, PCB layer Stack up, DFM, DFT etc. Good understanding of PCB design guidelines, EMI/EMC Good knowledge of agency certification requirements (like IEC/UL)
Responsibilities
will include generation of product specifications, supplier visits, test equipment qualification, coordinating with plant on manufacturing activity and project documentation.
Qualifications
for the role : B.Tech/M. S/ M. Tech or equivalent in ECE/EE/Power Electronics from reputed institutes with 6+ years of hands-on experience
Experience
in the Electrical protection/ controls domain preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively across a global team working on multiple projects, take ownership and drive results Hands on expertise on circuit design - power supply design, analog sensing, digital input/outputs, communication circuits like RS485, Ethernet, CAN etc Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in analog and microcontrollers Must have developed multiple products from concept through production (has been through 2 or more big project cycle) Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & project management skills required More about us : ABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
