Training Coordinator for CPC Project

Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: Position Title: Training Coordinator for Child Protection Compact Project Contract type: Full time, fixed term Report to: Project Director The Mongolia Child Protection Compact (CPC) project’s main goal is to increase the capacity, the collaboration of the government, civil society, and private sector stakeholders to strengthen Mongolia's efforts to effectively prosecute and convict child traffickers with a victim-centered approach, to provide comprehensive trauma-informed care for child victims of trafficking (VOTs), and to prevent child trafficking in all its forms. The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supporting implementation of training, workshops, and capacity‑building activities under the Child Protection Compact (CPC) Project. The role focuses on operational coordination, logistics, partner engagement, and documentation to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of project trainings/activities in compliance with World Vision and donor requirements. Training Implementation & Coordination (50%): Coordinate day-to-day implementation of assigned training and capacity-building activities in close collaboration with relevant government counterparts, implementing partners, and service providers, ensuring alignment with approved plans and schedules. Develop and monitor detailed training schedules and implementation timelines. Organize and facilitate workshops, trainings, meetings, and learning events. Coordinate logistics including venues, materials, accommodation, travel, and participant management. Liaise with implementing partners, NGOs, and government counterparts regarding training implementation. Training Delivery Support & Documentation (25%): Support preparation of training agendas, session plans, materials, and participant lists (based on content developed by consultants). Ensure attendance sheets, activity reports, photos, participant feedback, and supporting documentation are properly completed, archived, and made available for donor and internal reporting purposes. Support trainers and consultants during delivery of trainings and workshops. Coordinate feedback collection and post‑training documentation. Reporting & Internal Coordination (15%): Contribute to quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc project reports related to training outputs. Prepare briefs, summaries, and updates on training and other relevant activities for the Project Director. Coordinate closely with the Program Technical Specialist to ensure alignment with approved ToRs and technical guidance. Prepare and consolidate training-related inputs, summaries, and documentation for inclusion in quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc donor and internal reports, in coordination with the Project Director and technical team. Duties
(10%): Ensure safeguarding, child protection standards and other donor requirements are applied during all training activities. Perform other duties assigned by the Project Director. Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification: University degree in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. Relevant training or certification in training coordination, facilitation, adult learning, or capacity building is an asset. Required Professional
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience coordinating trainings, workshops, or capacity‑building activities for development or humanitarian projects. Demonstrated experience in organizing multi‑stakeholder trainings involving government agencies, NGOs, and consultants.
Experience
supporting U.S. Government–funded or other donor‑funded projects is preferred. Proven experience in logistics coordination, event management, documentation, and reporting.
Experience
working within INGO operational systems (procurement, finance, safeguarding) is an asset. Must have good negotiation and communication skills in English/Mongolian and administrative abilities Work in a team, able to visit to field when necessary (20%) Ability to work flexibly during peak training and event periods.
