Job Description Finance, Planning, and Budgeting (FPB) has an outstanding opportunity for Mail Rater, C2 Mail Processing to join their team. About this Opportunity The Mail Rater, C2 Mail Processing operates mailing machines; adjust, maintain and operate mail processing equipment such as ink jet addressing system, mail inserter, tabber and folders, process and meter outgoing mail, mail handwork and use computers to enter and print appropriate U.S. Postal Service paperwork. Participate in Lean Process Improvement activities, daily, weekly and monthly huddles. Lean idea generation and team building, meetings and other workflow improvement activities. Key

Positions allocated to this class are distinguished by responsibility for processing both foreign and domestic mail for proper postage and are expected to have knowledge of United States Post Office Regulations in the International Mail Manual and Domestic Mail Manual.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

or willingness to learn computer data entry. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 70 pounds and push, pull up to 100 pounds.
