Commercial Bid Manager Commercial Bid Managers are the primary content creator and quality control specialists of all client-facing materials, specializing in written content, in the form of proposals, case studies, presentation decks, website content, and other similar deliverables – all focused on conveying and selling the capabilities and services of TaskUs. They work hand-in-hand with Sales, Client Services, and other client-facing groups teams on end-to-end sales opportunities, ensuring that the information presented to prospects and clients are relevant, updated, impactful, and effectively convey TaskUs’ core capabilities and services. Org Structure This role reports to the Senior Commercial Bid Manager. This role works closely with the Creatives Team. This role’s primary stakeholders are the Sales and Client Services Teams. End-to-End Project/Deal Management In charge of writing, design overwatch, overall management, and cross-department coordination of all client-facing content and deals in the form of proposals, presentation slides, case studies, vertical/service line web pages, and other forms of revenue-generating sales materials. Tailor-fitting the verbiage, content, tone, section inclusion, and overall message of client-facing outputs to ensure that it resonates with and addresses the needs, pain points, and priorities of the prospective client. Working closely with Sales and Client Services stakeholders (primarily Vice Presidents), with each Bid Manager assigned to a specific Industry or Service Line, ensuring that all output checkpoints, scheduled content drafts, and output deadlines are met. Working closely with various subject matter experts from all key TaskUs functional departments managing the accuracy, relevance, and consistent tone of the content of their input when placed in client-facing materials. Regularly communicating with the aforementioned Sales, Client Services, and other operational departments through scheduled sync sessions to ensure up-to-date information, best-practices sharing, and seamless communication during ongoing projects/deals/bids. Consistently updating proactive proposals, presentations, whitepaper documents, and other forms of semi-templated materials to ensure relevancy and impact. Closely working with all video, image, and web/online specialists in the Creatives Group in the formatting and layout of the client-facing content, consistently imbuing them with TaskUs’ evolving branding and design philosophy. Collaborating with the various groups of the Integrated Marketing Team (Accounts, Strategy & Insights, Creatives, PR) to produce, enhance, and execute miscellaneous content projects, primarily from a content perspective. Knowledge Database Management Constantly updating, maintaining, and sorting internal content databases, templated question-and-response project/output files, and contact lists of functional departments. Ensuring up-to-date client and campaign list information (headcount, site operations, lines of business, service channels, etc.) to be used in client-facing materials. Keeping an updated list of subject matter experts and POCs across the various functional departments to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of information during projects/deals/bids. Leadership Fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Owning the end-to-end process in accomplishing a project/deal/bid. Managing the supervisors and staff during all phases of each project/deal/bid. Pushing back, compromising, and/or outright rejecting project requests that are out-of-scope, unfeasible, and generally improper. Constantly innovating the output, quality, and effectiveness of each project/deal/bid. Owning and fostering partnerships with their fellow bid managers and all content creators within the Integrated Marketing Team. Key Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in technical writing, creative writing, or proposal management. Mastery of the English language in both writing and speech. Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant and related discipline. Highly organized and self-motivated, and able to work on tight schedules. Possesses adept presentation skills and an advanced ability to communicate, influence, and gain the commitment of others. Has an advanced creative thinking and problem-solving mindset. Is very detail-oriented while managing multiple content deadlines. Strong communication, interpersonal, discernment, and general negotiation skills.
