What Will You Contribute? As a Mid-Market Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in helping customers understand and align their software usage with contractual licensing obligations. Supporting U.S. retail lending and financial messaging solutions across North America and Europe, you will partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to assess license compliance matters, develop supportable compliance positions, and drive commercially effective outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, revenue-generating environment where analytical thinking, commercial judgment, and customer engagement are critical to success. You will manage a high volume of compliance matters while building expertise in software licensing, contract interpretation, audit findings, and customer negotiations.
Responsibilities
& Deliverables Manage a portfolio of software license compliance matters across retail lending and financial messaging customers. Review customer contracts, order documents, entitlement records, audit findings, usage data, and deployment information to assess compliance positions. Develop clear, accurate, and defensible compliance assessments supported by contractual analysis and customer data. Prepare customer-facing reports, findings summaries, and supporting documentation that communicate complex licensing issues in a concise and practical manner. Partner closely with Sales teams on territory planning, account strategy discussions, customer engagement approaches, and compliance resolution activities. Engage directly with customers to explain compliance findings, respond to licensing questions, and support productive resolution discussions. Prioritize and manage a high volume of concurrent compliance matters while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with Legal, Product, Technical, and other internal stakeholders to resolve complex licensing questions and drive matters to completion. Maintain accurate tracking, forecasting, pipeline visibility, and status reporting for assigned compliance activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and scalable compliance processes. Required

Experience
supporting software licensing, software compliance, license audits, contract management, commercial operations, risk advisory, consulting, or related business functions. Strong ability to review and interpret commercial contracts, licensing agreements, order forms, and entitlement documentation. Analytical mindset with the ability to compare contractual rights against customer usage, deployment, or entitlement data and identify potential compliance gaps. Strong written communication skills with experience preparing reports, findings, audit summaries, or customer-facing documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Legal, Product, Technical, and customer-facing teams. Commercial awareness and sound judgment when balancing compliance requirements with customer and business considerations. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Law, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience
within enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, financial services technology, or regulated technology environments is preferred. Background in Big Four consulting, risk advisory, audit, compliance, or software asset management is preferred. Juris Doctor (JD), CPA, or similar professional credential is preferred. Knowledge of software licensing models, entitlement analysis, deployment data, audit methodologies, and compliance reporting is a plus.
