Job Responsibilities

As the System Engineer, you are accountable for ensuring the product development team (including ODM/OEM suppliers) follows the Philips V-model process to ensure product exceed consumer expectations and are safe and reliable in the field. You will coordinate System Integration activities during the design development phases. You are responsible for the product verification strategy. By bringing fantastic oral healthcare products to market, you will help consumers achieve a lifetime of better overall health and ensure the continued growth of an already thriving business! You are responsible for translating business and user requirements to product requirements, developing the system testing and verification activities; Developing and following up on the product design FMEA that feeds into the element design FMEAs; Setting up the database that is used by the project team to document outputs of the Philips V-model process; Communication of V-model maturity during product development to management. You're the right fit if: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Information Engineering. 5+ years’ experience in a product development environment. Awareness and end-to-end exposure to Systems Engineering activities in all phases of product development life cycle (concept to release). Building requirement management focus using Doors or Codebeamer or a similar system is preferred. Planning and execution of System Integration and System Verification Preferably experience within a regulated industry (medical devices highly desirable, along with knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, FDA Quality System Regulations, and ISO 13485).

in application of Design for Six Sigma, Design for Reliability [preferred]

in testing equipment setup and verification [preferred] Functional competencies: fact-based, uses logic to solve problems, analyzes problems skillfully Communication and presentation skills: documents data / decisions in a detailed and structured way, tailors ways to best present information to audience and presents complex technical data in a concise way Strong interpersonal skills to work with people globally and all levels of the organization Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) Logical thinking and demonstrated competencies on handling multiple tasks.
