Lead Engineer– System Engineering

Partner with the best As a Lead Engineer – System Engineering, you will be responsible for: · Design, developing and finalizing the main document for auxiliary systems design (P&IDS). · Familiar with process flow diagrams (PFD’s) of centrifugal compressor and its operations. · Ensure compliance to applicable government regulations, engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies and procedures. · Provide engineering support by answering technical questions and requests during Kick off meeting and design reviews. · Able to demonstrate technical expertise in this role and single point of contact for all system related queries. · Participation in customer HAZOP / SIL review for personnel safety and asset integrity management. · Developing predictive system design through modelling and numerical simulation (MATLAB/Simulink, Flo Master, HYSIS) · Leading System Design Review, ensuring actions are completed in time and in quality · Working closely with Project Engineers and other internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution. · Providing expertise on turbomachinery operation and relevant auxiliary system design like dry gas sealing system and lubrication system · Demonstrate knowledge in engineering practices, international codes, standards and specifications, including API614, API 692, ASME, PED etc. · Preparation of Auxiliary Equipment Technical Specifications, such as seal gas heater/booster/control valve/Pressure safety valves/Filters etc and data Sheets, for enquiry · Review of Process Data Sheets and Supplier documentation for integration within Project design, such as GA / Details / Calculations. · Contribute with technical expertise to new energy technology solutions development, such as Hydrogen, CO2, and Energy storage. · Work with all involved Engineering, Procurement and Field Service functions with the IET organization · Attending technical meetings with Customers and suppliers, providing support to the testing and supply chain departments · Work with required external and internal interfaces to ensure that customer requirements are understood and achieved · Contributing to a flawless execution of design activities, including technical alignments with suppliers. · Driving and broadcasting the innovative ideas generation process. Interface and coordination with other disciplines. Fuel your passion! To be successful in this role you will have: · Have a bachelor’s degree with 8 years OR a master’s degree with 6 years’
Experience
in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy, or equivalent engineering · Have robust knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical and thermal physical domains · Have familiarity with turbomachinery and/or process design · Proven experience with technical problem resolution for turbomachinery and/or complex system design · Be able to read & understand engineering documents (like P & ID, technical data sheets, and O&M manuals) and site service requests. · Be competent in problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills, along with interpersonal skills · Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, acting as a team player with the ability to influence and motivate others · Be fluent in verbal and written English.
