Job Description & Summary PwC EMEA Acceleration Centre has a goal to refine how audit services are delivered - by breaking down geographical barriers and enabling talented professionals to work on complex, multinational financial audit engagements without leaving their home countries. As a Senior Associate in EMEA AC, you will work as a full-time member of engagement teams across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands or other EMEA countries, gaining international experience without relocating. This role reflects the expectations of a fully accountable Senior Associate, with responsibility for managing various audit areas, exercising professional judgment, coaching junior team members, and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle. Your Key

Responsibilities

Work with different overseas PwC network firms and EMEA AC colleagues on financial audit engagements and contribute to improvements in audit quality Perform financial statement review procedures in accordance with auditing standards and methodology. Conduct and execute advanced audit procedures on complex areas of the financial statements, including review of policies, test of details, evaluation of qualitative aspects etc. Delegate tasks, provide guidance and coaching, and review the work of junior team members. Stay up to date with changes in audit methodologies, technologies and client requirements. Collaborate with engagement teams and internal stakeholders and clients, contributing to effective communication, risk escalation and issue resolution. Contribute to a positive team environment by understanding roles and responsibilities and seeking guidance and feedback when needed. Show resilience and demonstrate dedication to self-development including being agile and innovative in the digital world. What We’re Looking For •

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field. •

Experience

2+ year of experience in Financial Audit • Languages: Proficiency in business English, confidently conversing with clients and colleagues (knowledge of other languages is an advantage). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and clients. • Strong analytical and project management skills to handle complex client needs. •Adaptability to thrive in a fast-changing regulatory landscape and willingness to embrace ongoing learning. •

Experience

with IFRS and familiarity with international auditing standards •Progress in ACCA or other internationally recognized certifications, or openness to enrolling •Proficiency in using Excel and other MS Suite 365 •Willingness and curiosity in using AI & applying digital mindset
