Global Trade International Logistics & Operations is responsible for managing Global Trade execution focused on compliance, delivery excellence and cost optimization. This job family implements and executes Global Trade policies and serves as primary interface to internal business operations, as well as forwarders, and customs house brokers.
Responsibilities
US Import/Export documentation, broker instructions, export filing and entry compliance US Customs broker relationship building to facilitate tactical, daily imports KPI management including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation Working with destination sites and origin partners on CTPAT qualifications and processes Working with AES Direct, Livingston’s Tradesphere, and other Trade Management Systems, to allow for a seamless EEI filing and/or customs clearance without additional delays and costs to the CAH organization Document and communicate Import and export related job aids and requirements Support critical projects and other teams within the CAH organization Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Experience
with filing US Import and Export declarations, NRC and DEA regulated exports, imports of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, and shipments of radioactive hazardous material Strong organizational skills, enabling successful balancing of multiple priorities at one time Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Fluent communication skills in English, other languages a bonus
