Job Title: Clinical Research Assistant 1-Clinical Trials Management Office Department: Medicine | Clinical Trials Management Office Earnings This clinical research assistant role is specifically being recruited to support the Ohio State Genomic Health community health research initiative. The goals of Ohio State Genomic Health are to recruit 100,000 research participants over a 4–5-year period. Ohio State Genomic Health is a partnership with Helix, a population genomic company and the College of Medicine (COM) Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). As part of Ohio State Genomic Health, clinical genomic screening is also being conducted on each consented participant, with the return of positive and negative genomic screening results for three clinically actionable conditions that confer increased risk for certain types of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Specifically, you will provide assistance in support of this program and related clinical research studies; assist with implementation and coordination of this and related studies; participate in recruitment of study participants; assist with collection, maintenance, & reporting of clinical research data in conjunction with the larger study team. Recruitment for Ohio State Genomic Health includes email invitations, phone calls with eligible and consented individuals to answer questions, and likely future in-person community recruitment events.
