About the department: The Global Compliance Transaction Monitoring Team at Fiduciary Trust Company International helps protect the organization from money laundering, sanctions, and terrorist financing risks. The team monitors client activity, reviews higher-risk transactions, conducts sanctions screening, and supports regulatory reporting requirements. Team members work closely with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders to strengthen the firm’s control environment and support regulatory compliance across global operations. Responsibilities
You will administer the GIFTS transaction monitoring platform. You will support the Threat matrix monitoring program. You will conduct Anti-Money Laundering investigations. You will perform quality assurance reviews. You will consolidate alerts and case information. You will maintain search-list profiles within GIFTS. You will oversee daily monitoring operations activities. Strategic
Responsibilities
You will provide guidance on compliance-related matters. You will evaluate client activity and due diligence findings. You will support Bank Secrecy Act compliance programs. You will manage monitoring activities related to sanctions requirements. You will develop and update Anti-Money Laundering policies. You will prepare management reporting and metrics. You will lead key transaction monitoring initiatives. Team & Collaboration: You will partner with compliance and business stakeholders. You will deliver Anti-Money Laundering and fraud training. You will support critical departmental projects. What will help you be successful in this role? Experience,
Education
& Certifications: 8+ years of transaction monitoring investigation experience.
Experience
in private banking or wealth management preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience. ACAMS certification preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Knowledge of Office of Foreign Assets Control requirements. Understanding of the USA PATRIOT Act and Bank Secrecy Act.
Experience
with GIFTS or similar monitoring platforms. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
