Position Summary: As Illumina embraces the change for the next industrial revolution, the function for the Automation team within Illumina Singapore is to support successful product launch. The incumbent will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver customized solutions for manufacturing to achieve high standards of automated operations for high volume production in Singapore. The role will be part of the Automation software project team. He/She is expected to work closely with the software team in verifying and implementing software modelling standards against the software requirements for the new equipment. Responsibilities
Collaborate with various stake holders of various internal and external function for aligning and defining the software requirements Responsible for contributing to the project timeline and software deliverables Collaborate strongly with various representatives (Project, Software, Design, Validation, Process, Manufacturing and Quality) within the Project. Extending support in verifying and validating requirement against as built equipment Participant in Commissioning activities like FAT and SAT for Equipment buy off Participant in Qualification activities like IQ, OQ and PQ for Equipment release Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Requirements
Proficiency in C#, C++, Python and/or SQL programming skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and system administration of Microsoft Operating System
Experience
with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Beckhoff or Siemens preferred)
Experience
in 21CFR, Part11 and Data integrity
Experience
in full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Experience
in writing technical requirements
Experience
in software testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing and System Testing) and verification over various system commission (FAT and SAT) and qualification (IQ, OQ and PQ)
Experience

Experience
utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance software development, testing, debugging, documentation and overall engineering productivity

in MES manufacturing environment is an advantage

in high-volume, high-tech consumables manufacturing environment
