As a Records Specialist, you will support the business in handling one of our most vital assets - our physical records and information! You will ensure that physical records policies and procedures are followed and meet all state and federal requirements and collaborate with and educate internal partners on records processes. Attention to detail, the ability to recognize and solve typical problems and decipher vague requests for information, and building and cultivating relationships across the company are keys to success in this role! Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsible for the integrity of the information transferred into the Records Information Management System, including records sent to off-site storage Collaborates with internal partners and team members who handle physical records Champions processes and procedures and educates others; supports annual review and ensures updates are completed and published Completes records searches and provides records reports Identifies and coordinates records available for destruction Efficiently manages confidential shred bins processes; works closely with the vendor to address service and billing Supports record retention code validation to ensure compliance Other duties as assigned Education/Years of
Experience
Required: Associate's or vocational school degree in a business related field and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a compliance/service-based records program Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a business related field and a minimum four (4) years of experience in a compliance/service-based records program Shift/Work Hours/Travel

Experience
in the oil and gas industry, with knowledge of industry documentation, records management practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
