Working Title: Customized Training Instructor (Part-Time, Temporary) Institution: St. Cloud Technical and Community College Classification Title: Customized Training Rep Bargaining Unit / Union: 218: Non-Unit City: St. Cloud FLSA: Job Exempt Full Time / Part Time: Part time Employment Condition: Unclassified - Limited (Fixed Term) Salary Range: $30.76 - $54.52 Job Description St. Cloud Technical & Community College (SCTCC) invites experienced professionals and educators to connect with us and share their expertise as part-time instructors with our Customized Training department. This opportunity allows individuals with industry expertise to share their knowledge, support workforce development, and make a meaningful impact in their communities through flexible training opportunities. Customized Training instructors may teach in one or more of the following subject areas: Business, IT, and Professional Skills – Provide practical training in leadership, communication, Microsoft applications, and essential workplace skills. Skilled Trades and Industry – Offer hands-on training and certification support for tradespeople advancing or updating their skills. Health and Human Services – Deliver essential training in classes such as CPR, phlebotomy, medication aide, and professional direct care to support healthcare workforce readiness. Position Information Customized Training Instructors are employed in a temporary, part-time capacity and are scheduled based on training needs, instructor availability, and program assignments. Courses are offered throughout the year and may vary in frequency and duration. This posting is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for future instructional opportunities. While there may not be an immediate opening, applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as training needs arise. Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota State’s vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check. A job offer may be contingent upon successfully passing a background check. Work Shift
(Hours / Days of work): This teaching position could possibly teach a variety of modalities to include in-person, online or a hybrid course. The SCTCC course schedule determines the days of the week, specific class times and locations. Instructional assignments may be as short as one day or as long as multiple weeks.
