About the role The Sr Supervisor Test & Validation Engineer supervises entry and intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of support employees in Systems Engineering. Assesses costs and technical performance of department projects, and coordinates department activities including the design and modification of product requirements to meet total systems solutions. Key responsibilities As a Sr Supervisor Test & Validation Engineer, you'll be responsible for: The coordination of test technicians in laboratory. Data Analysis experience for Test Report Evaluation Supplant of the engineer test in any absentia or when workload is presented for the testing/setup execution. Responsible for overseeing the tests performed in the laboratory. Responsible for the proper operation of the equipment in the laboratory. Supplies the Laboratory manager in the absence and only in the activities concerning the laboratory activities Ensure the implementation and maintenance management system ISO 17025 quality. Ensure the implementation and maintenance of the UL/ETL certification. Calibration
Experience
on equipment to fulfill process if it requires. Assist in the generation of positive influence with the team to achieve CX goals. Assure the purchase materials requirements for the correct function of the laboratory stations. Authorized signatory for UL laboratories for testing. Internal Audits for Quality System
Experience
Develops and coaches team members on appropriate policies, procedures, and control processes to meet work requirements and business objectives. Establish goals and objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large projects Supervises the collection and analysis of customer specifications and system level requirements to provide decomposition into sub-system and piece part requirements and generate verification criteria and plans for the requirements. Monitor costs, effectiveness, and reliability of activities and recommends modifications to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that business objectives are met. Supervises work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools for large projects.
Requirements
As a minimum you must have: Knowledge in design processes and tools. Thermodynamics Technical knowledge in HVAC equipment and applications, Electricity, Electronics. Mechanical and troubleshooting skills Project management Windchill LabPro/LabView Bachelor's degree Fluent English skills
