Workplace & UC Your role and responsibilities Lead and manage ABB’s Information Protection services, driving secure data protection operations, incident response, stakeholder engagement, governance, compliance and continuous improvement aligned with business and cybersecurity objectives. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role supports ABB Information Security by driving Information Protection initiatives and partnering with internal stakeholders, business units, and technology providers to strengthen data security, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization You will be mainly accountable for : Lead and manage ABB’s Information Protection services, including DLP, DSPM, Data Classification, Insider Risk Management and data security related security capabilities. Own service operations, governance, performance, compliance and continuous improvement of Information Protection services. Protect sensitive information across Microsoft 365, cloud, on-premises, endpoints, AI-enabled services and business applications. Drive the implementation, optimization, and operationalization of data security controls and policies. Lead data protection incident management, including investigation, root cause analysis, escalation and resolution. Partner with business, compliance and cybersecurity teams to align security solutions with business and regulatory requirements. Manage service KPIs, SLAs, risk remediation activities and audit findings. Evaluate emerging technologies, security threats and industry best practices to enhance security capabilities. Lead stakeholder engagement, vendor management and cross-functional security initiatives. Mentor and develop a high-performing team while supporting ABB’s cybersecurity and AI security transformation programs. Qualifications for the role 12+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Data Security, DSPM and DLP. Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Wiz, Zscaler or equivalent security platforms. Strong understanding of AI Security, Copilot Governance and Generative AI security and compliance controls. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Purview & Security Certifications (SC-401, SC-500, or equivalent) Data Security Certifications ITIL Foundation Certification AI Security Certifications(Good to have) Experience with Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Wiz and Z-Scaler More about us ABB is a technology leader in electrification and automation, helping industries operate at higher levels of efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
