UR - Day (United States of America) Range: UR URG 114 Compensation Range: $86,900.00 - $130,300.00 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Office. Provides professional direction to staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversees changes in benefit plans, practices, and procedures required to provide competitive benefit plans. Assists in the evaluation of recommendations for improvements in benefits, policies, and procedures. Oversees communication and promotion of benefit programs to University faculty, staff, and retirees. Plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day activities of the

Office. Recommends, develops, and implements operational changes to increase the effectiveness of the department. Assumes full management responsibility in absence of Director. Provides leadership, direction and counsel to the

Office staff. Maximizes human capital by developing others’ talent, motivates, recognizes, rewards contributions. Holds others accountable for measuring and meeting performance goals and addresses low performance. Observes operation of benefit plans and reaction of faculty, staff, and retirees to plans. Evaluates effectiveness of benefit plans, reports observations, and makes recommendations for changes or improvements in benefit plans, policies, and procedures. Communicates and interprets benefit plans, policies, procedures, and services to the University community, with emphasis on problem solving related to individual and group concerns. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data in support of special project assignments. Keeps abreast of trends as they relate to the
Benefits
Program, including changes in state and federal legislation. Other duties as assigned.
