Deputy Shift Lead (Moorebank NSW) At a glance: As a Deputy Shift Lead based at our highly automated customer site in Moorebank, Sydney, you will join Toyota Automated Logistics, a global leader in warehouse automation, supporting one of Australia's most advanced automated picking solution sites. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to work with industry-leading technology while driving operational excellence, team performance, equipment reliability, and customer satisfaction within a 24/7 operation. Your Impact: Support the Shift Leader in coordinating daily maintenance and operational activities across the site. Lead and coach technicians through hands-on guidance, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Respond to system faults, outages, and escalations to maximise equipment availability and operational performance. Monitor maintenance activities using the CMMS, ensuring accurate reporting and effective asset management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reliability, and service delivery. Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and operational standards across all activities. Support the achievement of key performance indicators related to system performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. What makes you a great fit? Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. Experience working within automated warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments. Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams in a fast-paced operational setting. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to interpret equipment diagnostics and performance data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
