What to expect In this role, you will: Assist in analyzing technical and functional requirements and help translate them into software solutions. You'll learn to understand dependencies with other systems and teams. Support the design, development, and integration of third-party components, including participating in system testing and installations. Help develop automation scripts to assist with installations, configuration, tuning, and maintenance of database management systems. Provide technical assistance to colleagues and help resolve problems reported by team members. Contribute to the preparation of user documentation, installation guides, and operating procedures. Participate in supporting delivered software and be part of a collaborative problem-solving team. You'll analyze support cases and, when appropriate, assist in providing solutions following established case management processes. Have opportunities to develop your skills and grow in a true DevOps agile environment. What Will Make You Successful? We are seeking candidates with: 1-3 years of experience in Oracle databases or a related technical area. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

or familiarity with the following: Basic knowledge of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 19c, with an understanding of multi-tenancy and partitioning concepts. Awareness of DataGuard for Disaster Recovery (DR) and RAC (Real Application Clusters) for local resiliency. Introduction to GoldenGate for logical data replication. Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python or Shell scripting. A foundational understanding of IT security, particularly in the DBA area.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Database 19c Administrator Certified Associate (OCA) is a plus but not required. Basic knowledge of Oracle Advanced Security, Transparent Data Encryption, and Database Vault concepts. Familiarity with TLS/SSL and configuration of Oracle Wallet.

Experience

with RHEL operating system is a plus. Exposure to Confluence/Jira tools or equivalent project management tools. Good understanding of Ansible for installation and configuration automation is a plus. Familiarity with Jenkins/CloudBees for release management through CI/CD pipelines is a plus. What we offer We give you the freedom to be yourself.
