Job description
Job Description: DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding. DB Global Technology develops cutting-edge software applications for the Deutsche Bank’s global operations and represents a platform for highly skilled software engineers. The team members specialize in Software Application Development, IT Architecture, Quality Assurance and Testing, Functional/Business Analysis and Project Management. Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Our AFC team is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations. QA Engineer (Associate) As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Working within a dynamic team that follows Agile methodologies, you will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Test Case Development: Assisting in the creation and maintenance of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. Test Execution: Executing various types of tests, including functional, regression, integration, and system tests, across different platforms and environments. Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, tracking, and retesting defects using appropriate defect management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Requirements
Analysis: Collaborating with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure testability. Reporting: Generating clear and concise test execution reports and defect summaries. Collaboration: Actively participating in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contributing to team discussions. Continuous Improvement: Learning and applying best practices in software quality assurance and contributing to process improvements. Documentation: Maintaining test documentation, including test results, test data, and configuration details. Skills: A foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills to articulate issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Basic understanding of SQL and Unix commands for data validation purposes. A keen interest in the financial services industry and its technology landscape. Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Allure is preferred. Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Well-being &
