Workday Financials, Senior Principal Consultant
Job description
The Principal Consultant will “bridge the gap” between the business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday Finance implementation. Key Responsibilities: Be a Workday Finance expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing and implementation. Reinforces company policies and procedures to others. Drives and makes decisions regarding tactical direction of project workstreams. Identifies dependencies and supports interplay between different workstreams within a project. Leads, mentors, and oversees the work of other Consultants within their projects. Expected to be Subject matter expert (SME) in Core Financials, Procurement, Projects and Expenses area. Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent. 4+ years of Workday Finance and Procurement or any other planning tool implementation experience, required. 10+ years of experience in ERP consulting area. Cloud ERP experience will be an advantage. Workday Adaptive Financials (Highly Desirable) experience. Experience in working with another financial ERP system such as SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle ERP Cloud, or any other tool will be considered for this role. Background in financial or supply chain roles Data driven and solution driven mindset.
