Illustration Senior Show Student Workers
Job description
The New School was founded by forward-thinking educators in 1919 to defy the intellectual constraints of a traditional college education. BFA Illustration is seeking a student employee to support the BFA Illustration Senior Show. Applicants must be seniors in the Illustration program. In addition, students must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail; be able to carefully transport and handle artwork and materials; print posters; be familiar with Google Spreadsheets; and communicate responsibly with Professors Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens, the Senior Show Coordinators. Support the Senior Show Coordinating Faculty Jordin Isip and Rodger Stevens. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the intake of Seniors’ artwork and promotional materials on Fri, March 6 Catalog the received student exhibition materials on Google Spreadsheets Transfer artwork and exhibition materials from the Illustration Office to Kellen Gallery Prepare artwork and materials for installation Assist with the installation of artwork, exhibition materials, promotional cards, labels, statements, and exhibition signage to the walls Create and print promotions, posters and flyers for the exhibition Set up the catering for the Tue, March 17th opening reception Assist with the de-installation of artwork and other exhibition materials MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Provide a bulleted list of the minimum qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.
