This position reports to: Service Team Leader __ Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: This role contributes to the ABB Motion Service division (MOSE – Motor & Generator Service) and is responsible for providing maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and commissioning services for low- and high-voltage motors and generators at customer sites and service workshop This role is contributing to the Motion Service division, Motor & Generator Service (MOSE) business in Thailand. Main stakeholders are customers, service operations, engineering teams, sales teams. You will be mainly accountable for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair activities for motors and generators while ensuring compliance with ABB safety, quality, and operational standards. You will be mainly accountable for: Performing inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of low- and high-voltage motors and generators in workshop and field service environments. Conducting electrical diagnostic tests, including insulation resistance, polarization index, winding resistance, and other condition assessment tests. Supporting installation, commissioning, and emergency service activities at customer sites. Preparing technical service reports and documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. Ensuring compliance with ABB safety standards, quality requirements, and customer procedures during all service activities. Qualifications for the role Diploma in Electrical or a related field. Minimum 0–5 years of experience in motor and generator service, electrical maintenance, or industrial field service. Knowledge of low- and high-voltage motors, generators, and electrical testing methods is preferred. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostic tools such as insulation resistance tester, winding resistance tester, vibration analyzer, and laser alignment tools is an advantage. Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including overtime and weekend assignments when required.
