DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf in accordance with the shipyard schedule Follow up open items from the construction process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office and production teams for defects and remarks discussion and resolution Report to the Manager, Machinery & Piping with reference to the progress of the production, the status of the open items and potential main open issues Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during the inspection and commissioning period Take part in the sea trials Support the operating company after the Vessel delivery to follow up open items coming from the construction and commissioning period and/or to complete part of the commissioning after delivery Support the Machinery & Piping team for specific topics relevant to the Vessel project development Take part in FAT on Owner’s behalf Patrolling activities QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE: High School Diploma FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Maritime EXPERIENCE 5 years within a similar role COMPETENCIES/SKILLS Confident using Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above) Demonstratable Team Working Skills Excellent Communication Skills Technical Proficiency within Machinery and Piping Ability to Manage and Build Relationships Time Management CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES Add certifications/licenses (if any) here.
