To meet our challenges we are looking for a HSE Specialist within the Manufacturing team to be based at our Pantnagar unit. Purpose The purpose of HSE Specialist is to ensure safety protocols are being adhered to as per defined standard Their mission? The role ensures zero safety incident at the site by following laid down SOP's and safety standards to ensure health and safety of the people is safe guarded alongwith local legal compliance Your experience and talent will make the difference to: Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and legal registers to meet local/national regulations. Risk Management: Perform hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and job hazard analysis (JHA). Operational Safety: Enforce Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, electrical safety, lifting operations, and working at heights. Incident Investigation: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for accidents/incidents and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Auditing: Lead internal/external audits (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001). Liaising: Coordinate with government bodies (DISH, Fire, PCB) and stakeholders. Training & Mentoring: Conduct safety training, site inductions, and build a positive safety culture. Relations : Main internal relations -All Plant employees Main external relations -Govt. Experience
in high-risk environments such as Chemical Processing, or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Proven record of working as an independent EHS lead on industrial projects.Competencies: Deep knowledge of statutory regulations under the umbrella of The Factory Act & The Environment Protection Rules and associated Industrial Rules & Acts pertaining to Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management System. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and EHS management software. Desired
