Designation: Analyst Programmer Key Expectations Program, test, and maintain the batch system to meet client requirements Independently handle batch delivery and client interactions Create accurate analysis and test plans based on client requirements Ensure post-implementation stability and smooth batch operations Troubleshoot and resolve advanced programming and system defects Lead the production job support function by working closely with AA and B1 colleagues to ensure all failed jobs are treated with urgency, effectively managed, and resolved in a timely manner. Collaborate with global teams and ensure seamless information flow Influence and guide the team towards solution-oriented outcomes Required Skills Strong hands-on expertise in: SQL and SAS programming (or JCL / DB2) Advanced debugging of system and programming errors Batch processing and system analysis Advanced understanding of: DB2 relational databases and data models Data flows, data processing, and common data stores SAS advanced functions and utilities JCL / Mainframe concepts Ability to translate client requirements and legislation into system specifications Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills Ability to work independently and lead client-facing batch delivery Role Description The Analyst Programmer is responsible for programming and testing batch systems to meet client requirements and provide ongoing technology support. The role works closely with internal teams to create a comprehensive system platform that supports all client needs. Post system implementation, the Analyst Programmer ensures that batch systems operate smoothly, remain current, and continue to meet delivery and quality expectations. The role also involves reviewing analysis of documentation, evaluating configuration and test execution outcomes, and applying advanced technical expertise to resolve complex system issues. Detailed

Programming, testing, and batch system maintenance Creation of analysis and test plans for simple to medium complexity projects Advanced debugging of programming errors, system defects, and failures System analysis for low to medium complexity initiatives Review and validation of analysis documentation and test execution results Client interaction and ownership of batch delivery Collaboration with global teams across multiple communication channels

Education

B.Tech / B.E (IT, CSE, ECE) BCA + MCA candidates may apply

Experience
