If you are an experienced advanced manufacturing engineering professional with solid mechanical technical background looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting platform for you! Based in Suzhou, China. You will lead new coming OFC manufacturing line quality system develop and implementing and sustaining manufacturing quality systems during new product development phases. This role works closely with Product Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality and Plant Quality teams to ensure robust process controls, quality planning and successful product launches. The position plays a key role in driving APQP activities, process validation, risk management and continuous improvement across the manufacturing network As Sr. AME Engineer-OFC, you will: • Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing quality systems for the new OFC production line. • Drive manufacturing quality planning activities throughout product development, and production launch phases. • Lead AQP execution, including Process Flow , PFMEA, Control Plans and quality risk assessments. • Ensure quality requirements are effectively integrated into manufacturing process design. • Coordinate cross-functional reviews to identify, assess and mitigate product and process risks. • Develop and standardize manufacturing quality procedures, standards and process control methodologies. • Ensure compliance with corporate quality management systems, customer requirements and applicable industry standards. • Collaborate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality and Plant Quality teams to drive manufacturing quality excellence. • Lead manufacturing process qualification, validation and production readiness activities for new products and processes. • Define critical process parameters, process capability requirements and acceptance criteria. • Establish effective process control strategies to ensure product quality and manufacturing consistency. • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies for critical product and process characteristics. • Lead Measurement System Analysis ,including Gauge R&R studies, to ensure measurement system effectiveness. • Monitor and improve process capability metrics, including Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk. • Analyze quality and manufacturing performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions. • Facilitate structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagrams. • Lead corrective and preventive action activities to eliminate recurring quality issues and improve process robustness. • Support pilot builds, engineering builds and production launches to ensure successful industrialization and product transfer. • Ensure Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics are identified, validated and effectively controlled before production release. • Drive lessons learned activities and deployed best practices across manufacturing operations. • Support supplier quality planning and incoming quality requirements implementation for new products and manufacturing changes. • Partner with regional and global quality teams to drive quality standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing network. • Lead OFC line MES system development with collaboration with US AMT team, Local IT and operation • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required education, experience and skills: • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software and good presentation skills; • Fluent English in both written and oral; • Strong project management skill with solid project management background; • Strong ability to analyze, summarize, reason and judge problems; • Strong adaptability and proactive innovation mindset; • Strong communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit; • Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical related majors; • More than 8+ years of manufacturing related work experience, including at least • HVACR manufacturing/technology experience is preferred Our Commitment to Our People Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
