Role Summary As a Cost Allocation & Analysis Expert I, you'll support the execution of cost allocation processes, reporting activities, and financial analysis across ING's global operations. You will help maintain data quality, ensure reporting accuracy, and contribute to process improvements that make our finance operations more efficient and effective. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with colleagues across different countries and business functions. About the Team COO Finance is responsible for the central processing and reporting of accounting activities across ING Bank globally. The team supports a growing international organization, working closely with stakeholders in Amsterdam and other ING locations worldwide. You'll join a collaborative environment where learning, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing are encouraged, giving you opportunities to develop your finance expertise while contributing to meaningful business outcomes. What You'll Be Doing Support monthly, quarterly, and annual cost allocation cycles using established methodologies. Maintain allocation drivers, cost centers, and related financial data. Review allocation results and identify unusual trends or variances. Prepare reports supporting cost allocation and financial performance analysis. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Support the development of dashboards and management reports. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems. Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and analyze information. Support audit, control, and documentation requirements. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience
in finance, accounting, reporting, or cost allocation activities is an advantage. Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles. Knowledge of cost allocation concepts and methodologies is beneficial. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience
with ERP systems or financial tools is an advantage. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a plus. Comfortable working in a diverse, international environment.
