Oncology Site Management & Monitoring Brazil - Country Head and Latin America Cluster Head Are you ready to mobilize high-performing teams to accelerate oncology studies and bring life-changing treatments to patients across Brazil and Latin America? This is a pivotal leadership role with direct line-of-sight to patient impact, improving speed, quality and predictability across country and multi-country clinical delivery. You will lead the site management and monitoring function for Brazil and a Latin America cluster, shaping how interventional studies are planned, resourced and executed. Working closely with regional leadership and cross-functional partners, you will steward budgets and talent, advance feasibility and start-up, and ensure inspection-ready quality across a complex portfolio. How will you set the standard for operational excellence while cultivating a culture where people grow and deliver their best? Typical Accountabilities - Design or manages the implementation of the Study Delivery strategy and feasibility study within Clinical Development both regionally and globally. - Use expertise and knowledge of global issues to develop strategic Study Delivery objectives for inclusion into AstraZeneca’s annual business objectives. - Define strategies or leads AstraZeneca’s response to complex technical issues for specific medical aspects in relation to current projects, new projects and various plans. - Provide expert advice in the area of specialism, influencing the development of statistics to the global business and Global Clinical Development. - Maintain a high degree of understanding and awareness on new Study Management trends and developments. - Contribute to or manages the development of the senior management team in area of expertise. Qualifications and Skills Essential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in relevant scientific discipline; Extensive experience in Development and Patient Safety; Pharmaceutical experience; Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders within AstraZeneca. Desirable: PhD in scientific discipline; Expert reputation within the business and industry; Extensive knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory expectations. Key Relationship to Reach Solutions Internal: Regional and Global Senior Delivery within Development and Study Management; Pharmaceutical Development; Compliance Team; Global and regional Study Management sites, Site Management. External: External stakeholders eg regulatory authories and clinical sites.
